About This Quote

These two brothers were always arguing. It seemed like they were always at each other's throats. One day, the older brother saw a scene in which a group of people were quarreling and decided to try and learn from their example. He believed they had put more energy into harming each other than into saving each other when they were in need of help.

He thought that if he could do the same, then he would be able to get along with his younger brother much better. He realized that when he was in trouble, there was no one else to turn to but his older brother. And when he saw his brother in trouble, he also realized that no one else would come to his aid when he needed it most.
